Just in case you have clicked on this page from one of what will be many tweets or other social media plugs I’ll be doing from now until the jump and you don’t know me personally, this page is just a mini introduction and hopefully a ‘Thank You for donating’ message.
My name is Brian Adams but thankfully due to the ‘I’ in BrIan you shouldn’t be getting me confused with a Canadian bloke of a similar name who has terrible acne and a few number 1 hit songs.
I’m a father myself to two wonderful boys and can be often found being dragged around the streets of Oxford by my farting burping 4 stone pedigree Bulldog Tank...!
I have known Charlottes parents Jenny and Alex for many years and I feel honoured to be helping them raise money so that their beautiful daughter can have the artificial limbs she deserves.
Why a Skydive?
Charlotte’s parents organised the event and then looked for willing friends to take part, and after getting a My Little Pony tattooed on my posterior for charity in 2011 jumping from a plane for the first time ever should be terrifyingly exciting? Maybe? But what’s a little fear when it’s for a cause as worthwhile as Charlottes.
Am I scared of heights?
No. But I haven’t been thrown from a plane before so this answer may change after the 18 August.
Finally I want to give out a HUGE heartfelt thank you to those of you who have taken the time to sponsor me today, it is very much appreciated.
For updates on the jump or if you have any questions, you can follow on Twitter the 4 stone of pure pedigree Bulldog and the often moaning opinionated human life form attached to the other end of the lead - @tankadams09
Cheers.
